Well, are you ready to start experiencing all that it’s capable of? Even if you’re not technologically savvy, the following ten steps will help you get started using your best smartphone device:

1. Firstly Remove all of the contents from the box and make sure you have all of the parts and accessories that the owner’s manual or packaging stipulates.
2. Remove the plastic safety coating from the smartphone screens.
3. Insert the SIM card into the phone. (If the battery is already installed, remove it. Place the SIM card with the gold contacts facing downward and the cut corner of the card on the left. Next, slide the retainer cover that’s on the phone over the card to lock it in place.)
4. Write down your Smartphone’s phone number and store your service agreement (from the service provider) in a safe place.
5. Connect the battery to the Smartphone handset. It should slide into place and lock or snap in securely. If you’ve purchased a case for your phone, you can now slip on the protective case.
6. Using either the travel charger or the desktop charger, plug the appropriate end of the charger into an electrical outlet and the opposite end into the phone’s charge port. This port may be located under a rubber cover on the side or bottom of your phone. See your owner’s manual for details.
7. Allow the unit to charge for a full 24 hours before the first use. You can use the phone while it’s charging, but the charging process will take longer.
8. Once the phone is fully charged, remove the charger cable and turn on the phone.
9. The Windows Mobile default Start screen (also referred to as the Welcome screen) appears within a few seconds after the phone is turned on.
10. Take a few minutes to become acquainted with the layout of your Smartphone handset.
